Master Shakespeare & His Stories (Written for Grade Schools)
This play gives kids a chance to become familiarized with William Shakespeare, the language of his plays, and the times he lived in, all in a compact, 30 minute show.  As Will discusses what life was like in his day, he also tells them about some of his plays.  With the help of his two assistants, Will gives them a taste of such works as Two Gentlemen of Verona (Launcelot Gobbo's dog is going to get him in real trouble someday!) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (those mechanicals just can't seem to get the story of Pyramus and Thisby quite right!). This play is the perfect way to introduce your classes to Shakespeare and allow them to discover exactly why the Bard has been so popular for over 400 years.

The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe: A Love Story (Written for Middle & High Schools)
This original play explores the life and work of great American short-story writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe. Suspenseful interpretations of stories such as “The Tell-Tale Heart” reveal the man behind the work and explore the impetus behind his mysterious writing. Poe’s dramatic writing lends itself to the stage as we put poetry and stories into a performance!

Shakespeare's Warring & Wooing (Written for Middle & High Schools)
This fast-paced, four person show focuses on stage combat and Elizabethan costumes & customs. Using scenes from shows such as Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth, the "Warring" half of the presentation illustrates the role of stage combat in Shakespeare's works.  Ranging from the dirk to the rapier to the broadsword, the actors explain historical significance of combat in the Bard's works. Intermixed is the "Wooing" portion of the show, which covers the conventions of Elizabethan dress, and how it differs from the styles of today---but not so much from the styles of the 70's---and how clothes even affect romance! And by utilizing scenes from such comedies as The Taming of the Shrew, students learn how funny, and combative, romance can really be!
